Graded honestly, sourced openly
Every site is graded for how well its geography is attested — established, popular tradition, approximate, or contested — because the event is never in question, but the exact spot sometimes is. Every verse shown carries its occasion and a named source (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, al-Wahidi's Asbab al-Nuzul), and where scholars differ — including between the Sunni and Shi'i traditions — both readings are presented as readings.
⚠ A work in progress
This is an educational resource in active development, under ongoing scholarly review. Narrations are summarized and locations are estimates where marked. Corrections are welcome — every station carries a link to suggest one, and submissions are reviewed before the next release.

NoorMap is the map of the Muslim world's living spaces — mosques, halal food, schools, businesses, and sacred places — built privacy-first: no tracking, no data sales, no surveillance. Its listings are powered by the Ihsan Standard, an open framework that audits Muslim organizations and businesses against published standards of excellence (ihsan) in governance, transparency, and community care.
Today the directory is deepest in the United States. The goal is the whole ummah: every mosque, every halal kitchen, every Muslim school and business and landmark, on every continent — mapped, verified, and owned by the community rather than rented from surveillance platforms. The Seerah Explorer is the first chapter of that story told globally.
